Kindness is a decision, not a mood.
It shows up most when it's hardest to give.
That’s what makes it powerful.
Today we are going to help leaders master this by using:
‘Kindness Planner'.
Let’s dive in!

Scenario: During team meetings, take a moment to acknowledge positive things happening.
Begin each meeting by inviting team members to share one kind act they observed or experienced that week.
What to Say:
"Before we dive in, does anyone have a kind moment they'd like to share from this week?"
"Let's take a minute to highlight any acts of kindness we've noticed among our team.”
This practice sets a positive tone, encourages attentiveness to others' actions, and reinforces a culture of appreciation.
Scenario: Encourage anonymous notes of appreciation among colleagues.
Place a jar in a communal space with note cards and pens.
Invite employees to write anonymous notes recognizing a colleague's helpful action or positive thing about someone.
What to Say:
"Feel free to drop a note in the Kindness Jar to acknowledge a colleague's support or a positive moment."
"Let's use the Kindness Jar to share appreciation anonymously and brighten someone's day."
This simple activity promotes a continuous flow of positive feedback and can boost morale when notes are shared during meetings or displayed on a bulletin board.
Scenario: Plan and track acts of kindness throughout the month.
Develop a calendar with daily or weekly kindness challenges, such as "Compliment a colleague" or "Help someone with a task."
What to Say:
"This week's kindness challenge: Share a positive article or resource with your team."
"Let's check off our kindness acts on the calendar and share our experiences."
A visual representation of kindness activities can motivate participation and provide a sense of accomplishment.
Scenario: Highlight individuals who consistently demonstrate kindness.
Feature a team member each month who exemplifies kindness, sharing specific examples of their actions.
What to Say:
"This month's Kindness Spotlight goes to Alex for always offering help during tight deadlines."
"Let's recognize Jamie for her consistent positivity and support to new team members."
Public recognition reinforces positive behavior and encourages others to engage in similar actions.
How to Start Earning—Even If You Don’t Know What to Offer
This is what I walk people through when they say:
"I want to start a business… but I have no idea where to begin."
You don’t need a funnel, a logo, or even an audience.
You just need to offer one clear solution to one real problem.
Here’s what to do:
Go to creatyl.com, create your free account and go to your storefront.
Pick a format: Digital Product, Coaching Call, or Custom Service
Fill in this prompt:
I help [person] with [problem] by offering [solution]
Name it like a human:
“Freelancer Fast Start” > “Breakthrough Strategy Session”
Use the built-in Create with AI feature and expert step-by-step guides and prompts, then tweak it to fit you.
Hit publish. You now have a real offer people can buy.
📌 The fastest way to validate an idea is to make it visible.
creatyl handles the writing and setup. You focus on the value.
You just started your business in 15 minutes.
No tech. No friction. Just clarity.
Step 1: Choose One Lesson
Pick the one lesson from the Kindness Planner that feels most needed today.
Example: “Don’t make it personal,” or “Check in without an agenda.”
Step 2: Write Down Your Cue Moment
Name when you're most likely to forget this lesson.
Example: “During back-to-back meetings,” or “When I’m replying to emails fast.”
Step 3: Set a Micro-Challenge
Do this one thing today:
Before your next interaction, pause for 3 seconds.
That’s it. Three seconds. Just stop. Let your brain catch up to your heart.
Ask yourself quickly:
“What’s the kind way to show up right now?”
You don’t need a perfect answer. Just ask.
Step 4: Notice What Happens
At least once today, notice how things go when you actually pause and ask that question.
Did it change how you acted? Did someone respond differently?
Step 5: Reflect (1 Minute Max)
At the end of the day, jot this down:
What changed when I took 3 seconds before speaking or replying?
What would I try next time?
AI Prompt: “You are my personal coach. You help people lead with kindness, especially when it’s hard.
Today I’m working on: [your answer]
I usually forget it when: [your answer]
Instead, I want to respond like this: [your answer]
Now tell me:
– One simple thing I can do when this moment hits
– One short question to keep me kind
– One question to reflect on tonight
Keep it simple, honest, and real.”
Kindness doesn’t mean you always feel calm.
It means you still care when it would be easier not to.
You don’t need to be perfect — just willing to pause and try again.
Some days you’ll get it wrong. That’s part of it.
Kindness grows strongest in people who keep showing up even when it’s hard.
You may never know which moment helped someone feel less alone.
But today, you gave them one more reason to believe people care.
Until next time and with lots of love,
Justin
