Hey friends,

Schools tested one intelligence— but real life runs on many.

Most people spend years feeling “not smart enough” only because they were measured by the wrong ruler.

In real work, real teams, and real life— very different strengths rise to the top.

But first, a quick build-in-public update…

💪 We Just Took Communities to a Whole New Level

We just shipped a major upgrade to the Communities feature inside creatyl.

Community has always mattered to us.

So when we first launched it, we built something that worked — on par with what most platforms were offering.

But that was not good enough.

So we just rebuilt the entire experience to be world-class.

If you’ve ever used Circle, you’ll feel right at home.

If you’ve used Kajabi, Stan, Beacons, or Pensight — this is a HUGE step up.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Clean, modern layout that’s easy to live in

  • Custom pages and sections that feel intentional

  • Zero setup or tech headaches

  • Everything in one place — not stitched together

We’re already seeing our subscribers use it to:

  • Run paid memberships

  • Host challenges

  • Manage private coaching groups

  • Build real communities without needing Circle, Skool, or Kajabi

Let’s keep going.

P.S. If you want to see how creators/coaches/consultants are using creatyl to build their empires fast, come see it in our free live workshop:

Let’s get back to it…

You’re not defined by one type of intelligence.

You’re shaped by the strengths you choose to use.

And the moment you stop grading yourself by the wrong measure— you finally start seeing the strengths you already have.

Today we are going to help you master this by using:

‘Types of Intelligence'.

Let’s dive in!

How to Actually Use These 9 Types of Intelligence at Work

1. You’re leading a team meeting and someone keeps interrupting others

Scenario: You’re running a meeting and one team member keeps cutting others off. Tension is building, and you want to handle it without making the room feel awkward.

  • Use EQ (Emotional Quotient) + SQ (Social Quotient)

  • Pause the meeting for 10 seconds. Take a breath before reacting. This gives you time to reset and others a signal that something is off.

  • Address the group, not just the person. Say:

    • “Let’s make sure everyone’s had a chance to finish their thoughts before jumping in. I want to hear all angles.”

  • After the meeting, talk privately to the interrupter:

    • “I noticed in the meeting you were eager to jump in — I get that. At the same time, I think it’s important others feel heard too. What do you think?”

  • End by asking them to help in future meetings:

    • “Would you be open to helping me keep an eye on this next time?”

  • This flips the moment from confrontation to collaboration — and shows high EQ and SQ in action.

2. Your company introduces a new tool that no one wants to use

Scenario: The team’s dragging their feet on adopting a new CRM. People feel overwhelmed, and the tech isn’t being used — even though it would save time.

  • Use TQ (Technology Quotient) + XQ (Execution Quotient)

  • Record a 2-minute screen-share video showing exactly how you used it to save time on one task. Keep it fast and simple.

  • Share the video in Slack or email with this message:

    • “Took me 5 minutes to figure this out — and now I don’t have to copy/paste updates anymore. Here’s how I did it.”

  • Offer a live 10-minute “quick tip” session during lunch — call it:

    • “One thing this new tool can do that saved me 30 minutes this week”

  • Instead of pushing the tool, show the win. TQ isn’t just about using tech — it’s about removing friction for others too.

3. A project fails and your manager is frustrated

Scenario: Something went wrong. The client didn’t like the outcome, and your boss is clearly disappointed. Everyone’s on edge.

  • Use AQ (Adversity Quotient) + IQ (Intelligence Quotient)

  • Send a short message within the hour:

    • “I know that didn’t land the way we wanted. I’m thinking through what we could shift next time. Can I share a few ideas by tomorrow?”

  • Then actually reflect and write down 3 things:

    • What didn’t work

    • What you missed

    • What you’d try differently

  • In your follow-up, keep it simple:

    • “Here’s what I learned from this and one thing I’d change if we had to do it again.”

  • Most people either defend or disappear. When you take accountability and show problem-solving, people remember it.

4. You feel stuck and uninspired in your current role

Scenario: You’re showing up. You’re doing your work. But something feels off. It’s not burnout — it’s boredom. You’ve lost sight of the point.

  • Use PQ (Purpose Quotient) + XQ (Execution Quotient)

  • Ask yourself one question each morning for 5 days:

    • “What part of my day today feels like it matters — even a little?”

    • Write it down. Look for patterns.

  • At the end of the week, choose one task or topic that showed up more than once.

  • Find a micro-project connected to it. For example:

    • If it’s “helping others,” offer to mentor a new hire.

    • If it’s “solving problems,” ask your boss to let you lead a stuck project.

  • Say:

    • “I’ve been thinking about what kind of work keeps me engaged. I’d love to take on a small project related to X — even on the side.”

  • This builds meaning through small actions — not by quitting or waiting for a perfect role to appear.

1. You want to start, but you're stuck picking an idea

Scenario: You're overwhelmed by options and don’t want to choose the wrong one.

  • Ignore what’s trending.

  • Pick the idea you’d still enjoy even if no one noticed.

  • Circle 3 options from the infographic that feel simple.

  • Start with the one that feels easiest to ship this week — not perfect, just live.

2. You want side income, but you’re short on time

Scenario: You work full-time and need something you can build on the side.

  • Go straight to the yellow section — “Make Once, Sell Daily.”

  • Pick one thing you’ve already created or could build in a weekend.

  • Think:

    • What do people keep asking me for?

    • Package that and sell it.

3. You want a simple setup with no tech stress

Scenario: You don’t want to deal with websites, tools, or a learning curve.

  • Go to your favorite all-in-one platform.

    • Yes, creatyl is our favorite, but you can apply this to any top one.

  • Pick your business idea from the infographic, then choose a product to sell.

    • If you are using creatyl, use the Create with AI feature to create the whole product, landing page, and checkout in minutes.

  • Add your content, set your price, and launch fast.

Here's how you can make it real today:

Step 1: Choose your focus

  • Look at the Types of Intelligence infographic.

  • Pick one area where you want to get better today — maybe one you’ve been avoiding, or one that feels most relevant right now.

  • This is your focus for today.

Step 2: Pick a moment to apply it

  • Think ahead: Where today could you try something different?

    • Before a call?

    • During a meeting?

    • While replying to messages?

  • Add a short cue to your calendar or notepad:

    • “Use my intelligence skill at [X time/situation]”

Step 3: Do one smart move

  • Make it visible. Make it simple. Make it real.

  • Example moves for different intelligence types:

    • Emotional: Ask how someone’s doing — and pause to really listen.

    • Execution: Start that one annoying task with a 10-minute timer.

    • Tech: Try a new shortcut or tool you’ve been avoiding.

    • Adversity: Stay calm and ask “What’s still in my control?”

    • Social: Watch who speaks the least in a group — then ask for their view.

    • Purpose: Say no to something that doesn’t align with what matters.

    • Financial: Skip one impulse spend and write down why.

  • Don’t overthink it. One real move > ten perfect ideas.

Step 4: Pay attention to what shifted

  • After you try it, pause and ask:

    • Did that make anything feel easier?

    • Did the moment feel different?

    • Did I learn something I usually miss?

  • Write down or note one thing you noticed.

Step 5: Lock it in with one sentence

  • Before your day ends, finish one of these:

    • “Today, I used my [Intelligence] skill by ____. It helped me ____.”

      or

    • “Next time I’m stuck, I’ll try [that move] again.”

AI Prompt: “Act as a decision and behavior coach. Create a personalized plan to help me use one type of intelligence more intentionally today in a real-life situation.

  • Type of Intelligence I’m focusing on: [Insert one: Emotional, Execution, Tech, Adversity, Social, Financial, Cultural, Purpose, or IQ]

  • Situation I might face today: [Insert situation, e.g., “Team meeting where tensions could rise” or “Working through a long to-do list with distractions”]

  • What I want to improve: [Insert goal, e.g., “Handle emotions better” or “Finish a task I’ve been avoiding”]

Provide:

  • A short morning mindset reminder related to this type of intelligence

  • A 1-step action plan I can follow in that situation

  • What to say or ask in the moment (in my own words)

  • A quick check-in question I can ask myself at the end of the day to see what changed

Make sure the advice is simple, realistic, and fits into a normal workday. Help me turn this into a habit by starting small.”

You are already intelligent in more ways than you think

Most people measure intelligence by what they can explain or prove.

But the way you handle hard moments is intelligence too.

The way you listen, adapt, decide, simplify, or follow through — all of it counts.

You don’t have to be great at all 9 types.

You just need to notice the one you’ve been hiding — and use it on purpose.

Until next time and with lots of love,

Justin
