Hey Full Potential Zoners,
I’m hosting a free 30-day challenge where I’ll walk you through exactly how to build an offer of your own… and sell it.
Course. Community. Digital product. Doesn’t matter.
We start from zero. We get it live. You start earning.
It’s hands-on, with me. Real-time. No fluff. No guesswork. Just 30 days of clear steps that work.
Let’s continue…
The hardest person to lead—Is yourself.
When you know yourself, you make better choices.
You see your own habits, you notice how others see you, you understand how you act under stress and you learn from feedback instead of ignoring it.
First, please check out the incredible opportunity from today’s sponsor. 👇
Most people wait too long to start.
They think they need:
A full course

“Yes—that’s exactly what I need right now.”
And it’s easier than you think
With creatyl, you can:
✅ Package your smallest helpful idea in minutes
✅ Share one simple link—no setup or tech mess
✅ Start earning from what you already know

Self-awareness builds trust— first with yourself, then others.
It’s not the end of growth.
It’s the start of real progress.
Today we are going to help leaders master this by using:

Let’s dive in!

Scenario: You feel confident in meetings, but you notice people often reassign your tasks or double-check your work afterward.
Start with Clarity:
Ask a trusted colleague privately for input.
Say: “I want to get better at how I show up in meetings. Can you share one thing I do that works well and one thing I could change?”
Use Immediate Action:
In the next meeting, summarize your points clearly and confirm next steps.
Say: “Here’s what I’m owning after today’s discussion. Does that sound aligned with everyone?”
Apply Feedback Quickly:
Adjust your tone, clarity, or level of detail based on what you hear.
Follow up later with: “I tried your suggestion—did it come across better this time?”
Blind spots shrink.
You get real-time insight into how people see you, and trust builds naturally.
Scenario: You’ve joined a new project, but no one knows your past experience handling similar challenges.
Start by Sharing:
During introductions or early meetings, mention a past win that relates to the current work.
Say: “I’ve worked on a similar project before and handled tight timelines. If that experience is helpful, I’m happy to share what worked.”
Use Practical Proof:
Offer a short example or resource you created before.
“Here’s a simple checklist we used last time—it saved a lot of time. Want me to adapt it for this team?”
Invite Collaboration:
Ask how your skills can fill gaps.
“Where do you feel the team needs the most support right now? I might have a way to help.”
Your strengths move from Hidden to Open, making you a visible, trusted contributor faster.
Scenario: You’re worried about the timeline slipping, but you’ve kept quiet to avoid sounding negative.
Start with Honesty:
Bring it up calmly in a team chat or meeting.
Say: “I’ve been thinking about the timeline for Project X. I’m a bit worried we might miss it unless we adjust now. How’s everyone feeling about it?”
Use a Simple Solution:
Suggest a small, specific fix.
“Could we break this into smaller milestones this week? It might help us spot risks earlier.”
Invite Shared Ownership:
Ask what others see.
“What’s one thing we could all do today to make this feel more manageable?”
Concerns are out in the open, and the team can adjust together—turning silent stress into collective problem-solving.
Most people think self-awareness is about knowing your strengths.
But the real power is in spotting your blind spots.
Here’s a quick way to do it today:
Notice what drains you most.
That’s where you’re overcompensating.
Notice what people thank you for most.
That’s where your natural value is.
Notice what you keep avoiding.
That’s where growth is waiting.
The things people thank you for most?
Those are the exact skills or insights you can package into a simple product.
The things you avoid?
They’re usually the same struggles your audience has—and solving them for yourself can help others too.
Self-awareness doesn’t just make you a better leader.
It shows you what’s actually worth creating.
📖 “I Have No Clue” — The Smartest Thing a Leader Can Say
📖 The Dual Life: Navigating a Full-Time Job and a Side Hustle
When you’re ready to take what you now see clearly and turn it into something others can learn from and you earn from -
Step 1: Choose one lesson to work on
Blind spot:
Understand how others see you.
Hidden:
Share something about yourself you’ve kept to yourself.
Unknown:
Try something new or explore a skill you haven’t tested.
Concern:
Speak up about something that worries you.
Step 2: Pick someone
Pick one person you trust
Could be a teammate, peer, or manager.
Step 3: Send this message (or say it face‑to‑face)
“Hey [Name], I want to work on my [your chosen focus]. Would you help me by giving me one specific thing I did well today and one thing I could do differently?”
Keep it brief and friendly.
Let them know you value honesty and their time.
Step 4: Let it play out naturally
Pause and listen.
Don’t interrupt or defend yourself.
Say thanks when they finish.
Step 5: Write down what they say
Note both the positive and the suggestion.
Even if it’s short, it matters.
AI Prompt: “Act as a session coach. Create a clear plan for a short feedback chat based on the following details:
Your Name: [Insert your name]
Context for Feedback: “I want to understand how I showed up today in meetings (or chats), so I can work on my awareness.”
Positive Feedback Focus: “Something I did that was helpful or clear today.”
Constructive Feedback Focus: “One thing I could do differently or better tomorrow.”
Desired Outcome: “A clear next step I can try tomorrow to improve my impact.”
Provide:
A step-by-step outline for the chat, including:
Introduction (why you’re asking)
Two core questions (positive + area to improve)
Short closing (thank you + next step)
Suggested phrases you can use at each stage:
e.g., “Thanks for taking a moment…” / “One clear thing I heard is…” / “I'll try that tomorrow by…”
Simple ways to keep the tone open and safe:
e.g., “I’d really value your honest view” / “I want to learn, not defend” / “Even one thing helps.”
True clarity comes when you catch yourself in real time—no pretending, no hiding.
It means owning what you do well and what you stumble on, again and again.
That kind of honest look builds trust in you and trust around you.
It opens conversations that feel real, honest, and human.
In the end, leadership isn’t about being right—it’s about being aware and present.
Until next time and with lots of love,
Justin
